Jeff’s entrepreneurial journey began with 16 years developing, operating, and growing his mobile coffee business, Java2U. Jeff recognized and capitalized on the mobile coffee business opportunity before food trucks were considered “cool and hip” and coffee and smoothie shops were found on every corner. He sold this business in 2011. Based on this success, Jeff was appointed as President of Cafe2U, USA. Jeff was responsible for the growth and development of the brand, which includes franchise sales, existing franchise support, and new territory development. Cafe2U was sold to Retail Food Group in Australia.
Jeff also has extensive experience in the transportation and logistics industry. As a manager, responsible for on-time freight delivery, Jeff has become known for his creativity and his strong people development skills. In this role, he has accumulated a wide knowledge of standardized work practices leading to increased productivity and eliminating waste. He has been recognized by multiple Fortune 500 customers for his deployment of several operation-optimizing strategies that resulted in delivery and supply-chain improvements.
Jeff has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics from the University of California, Davis. While attending UCD, he has been published in multiple medical journals for his ground-breaking research at the University of California, Davis’ Hematology and Oncology Research Center.
Jeff coaches his daughter’s Special Olympic basketball and softball teams and enjoys traveling throughout the United States and internationally in support of another daughter’s competitive gymnastic schedule.
